Miller's on Main

For a Tuesday night, the place was packed. At 630, there was a wait. We had reservations since we were a larger party. The server was extremely attentive. Double checked orders to male sure they were all correct. Our party did not all come in together, and the server (N) was phenomenal. The food was amazing. Quite a few of our party ordered the special, a 7oz sirloin with salad and mashed potatoes. Others ordered pizzas, which were so good. I ordered the Chicken Modiga. Awesome fired pizza. Burger and wings were pretty typical. Met expectations. This has been a staple of my husband's family for years. They never disappoint.

My wife and I are regular customers because we live close, the food, staff and atmosphere is great and their patio is dog friendly. I wanted to give a shout out to Heather and Reid and thank them for their kindness and compassion during our last visit on April 28. We had to euthanize one of our dogs that afternoon and had to pick up our other dog from the emergency hospital due to an emergent event with her the previous evening. We stopped by to have dinner on the way home because we just couldn’t bear to go home yet. We sat outside and Heather came out to greet us and we told her what happened and we were there to have a couple beers and shed some tears and she shared a similar experience with her two previous dogs. Reid was our server and he was excellent, as always. He made sure our needs were met but gave us space and was very empathetic. We always appreciate the staff at Miller’s because they are friendly and provide great service; but we really appreciated the kindness, compassion and empathy they gave us on that very difficult day.

The Sea Bass Special with Crab Cakes, Asparagus, Wild Rice and Salad was amazing. Reifschneider’s is always busy and the patrons seem like they are enjoying themselves! It is a wonderful neighborhood joint.

There was 3 of us for dinner and we all kept raving about how good the food was. The service was great also. I ordered a 7 oz steak for 25 and it came with a salad and two sides. It was really good. They have daily specials

We made last minute travel plan change to visit family in Festus (from Kansas City area) that landed us in a hotel in Columbia and instead of dinner with extended family we pleasantly found this restaurant open on Christmas Even. We got in just before the rush hit and the staff was fantastic and the food to match. Having two ladies in my famlies with food allergies, all their needs were met and we left filled and happy. Thanks to your great staff!

Pizza was terrific! Not from area, but would recommend to anyone that comes to Columbia IL! The waitress could not have been better! Kept drinks full and continually made sure our visit was pleasant.

Great food & decent prices. The service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Very good food. I like the Ruben the best but every thing I get is good. Just had a Greek salad and it was good but I personally prefer green olives instead of black
